Charles (Charlie) Myers graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in building construction in 1985.  After two years of working for other general contractors, Charlie followed his entrepreneurial spirit and formed MYCON General Contractors in 1987.  Since its founding, MYCON has stood for quality, performance and innovation while striving to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Charlie’s leadership and managerial abilities, combined with his skills in business development and relationship management, have been driving forces for the growth and success of the Company.  Today, MYCON is an award-winning general contractor serving diverse market sectors, including retail shopping centers, commercial office, industrial, religious and financial services, among others.  The Company performs work primarily in the Southwest region and supports each project with a team of experienced professionals, including project managers, engineers, superintendents and support staff.

Charlie has been personally recognized by Inside Collin County Business as one of the 21 Leaders for the 21st Century.  He is also a member of several civic and professional organizations including the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.  As a full member of the Urban Land Institute, he co-chairs the North Texas Industrial and Office Product Council and serves on the North Texas District Council Advisory Board. As President, Doug is responsible for day-to-day leadership and management that supports the company’s strategic growth plans, financial goals, values, client relationships, and the successful delivery of all projects.

Doug joined MYCON in 2014 and is committed to driving results by developing new markets, delivering quality services and maintaining client relationships.  He is an accomplished 26-year industry veteran with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding corporate goals, providing exemplary leadership, promoting company values and creating a dynamic culture, driven to succeed.

Recognized for his personal management style, Doug enjoys bringing together outstanding project teams and forging strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, industry peers and other business partners.  He is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) and has received a Dale Carnegie Highest Achievement Award.

Tommy Campbell · Vice President of Operations · tcampbell@mycon.com

As Vice President of Operations, Tommy is responsible for leading efforts that will improve operational performance and inspire excellence throughout MYCON. Tommy brings a distinguished track record in establishing, developing and managing top performing teams. His executive leadership skills include a keen focus on customer service, client relationships and industry partners.

Prior to joining MYCON in 2016, Tommy spent 28 years with an ENR Top 400 Contractors construction firm where he managed more than $1 billion in construction projects across Texas and southern Oklahoma. Among his award-winning projects are The Joule Hotel historic renovation, American Airlines Center Platinum Club renovation, the University of Texas at Dallas Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory, and the Jack Evans Dallas Police Headquarters.

Tommy is known for his coaching and mentoring of numerous industry professionals and for his down-to-earth communication style. He has also served on TEXO’s Education and Research Foundation.

Steve has over 35 years of financial-related construction experience which includes previous financial managerial positions with Fluor Corporation and HWH.  He joined the MYCON team in 1997 and is responsible for the corporation’s financial and administrative operations.  Steve has been an integral part of the growth and development of MYCON.  He lives in McKinney with his wife, Josephine and is passionate about his fellowship with God and his love for his wife and family.

Justin Jeffus · Vice President Retail Services · jjeffus@mycon.com

With over 20 years in the construction industry, Justin provides a strong foundation in construction project management combined with a unique ability to understand and communicate with people at all levels. Hired as a Project Manager in 2004, Justin quickly moved up the ranks. Now, as Vice President Retail Services, he is responsible for the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of multiple retail projects, as well as the supervision of multiple project managers within the retail division. He has a keen eye for detail, a relentless pursuit of quality and pushes for excellence in performance on each project.

Justin graduated from Stephen F. Austin University. He is very active in his community and church and lives in Rockwall with his wife, Erin and two children, Jenna and Jackson.

With more than 14 years of experience in the construction industry, John has strong technical skills, in-depth industry knowledge and is an effective communicator with all project team members. As vice president of office and industrial services, John’s responsibilities include directing, managing and coordinating all aspects of industrial and office projects from concept through completion. He leads preconstruction efforts and manages the project team to ensure quality standards, schedules and budgets are met.

Prior to joining MYCON, John worked at Jordan Foster Construction where he served as vice president of project development. He began his career at Hill & Wilkinson as a project engineer, before being promoted to project manager and then business development manager.

John graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering with a concentration in construction management. He is an active member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) and has devoted countless hours to community involvement. John and his wife, Ginger, live in Lucas, Texas with their three children, Cade, Price and Aubrey. John enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and ranching with his dad.

Bill Brady · Vice President of Estimating · bbrady@mycon.com

A highly respected industry leader, Bill brings more than three decades of experience in estimating and field operations to MYCON. During his career, Bill has been involved with more than $2.5 billion of commercial construction projects across multiple markets, including industrial, retail, distribution/manufacturing, office, healthcare, K-12, higher education, multi-family and senior living.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Texas A&M University.

Bill is responsible for leading all estimating activities and coordinating all phases of cost tracking. He manages and trains the MYCON estimating staff responsible for conceptual and parameter estimating, design phase cost control, value engineering and the entire bid process.

Bill currently serves on the Board of Directors of the D/FW Chapter of the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) and is a member of Texas A&M University’s Construction Industry Advisory Council (CIAC). An Eagle Scout, Bill has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America as a scoutmaster and committee chairman, and his sons have also earned their Eagle Scout designations. He resides in Plano with his wife Meredith. In his free time, Bill enjoys fly fishing and other outdoor activities.

Dana is an experienced Business Development professional with over 17 years of experience in the construction industry with the vision to strategize effectively. She leads our Business Development team to cultivate and implement key strategies for growth with an ultimate goal of developing durable, long lasting relationships where MYCON is the contractor of choice. Dana is a member of the Urban Land Institute and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the North Texas District Council. She is also active and involved with International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
