MYCON General Contractors to Relocate to Dallas

McKinney, TX, February 1, 2016 – MYCON General Contractors has begun work on the exterior and interior renovation of its future company headquarters, a three-story, 46,071 square-foot office building located at 17311 Dallas Parkway, according to MYCON’s CEO Charles R. Myers.

MYCON bought the building in in the fourth quarter of 2015 and will relocate to the new building in the spring of 2017.  Originally constructed in 1979 and situated on a 1.9 acre tract, the building will be completely gutted and reskinned.

“MYCON is experiencing significant growth and the new office will not only accommodate our current needs, but also provide the foundation for continued growth," says Myers. "Initially, we will occupy the top floor and lease out the bottom two floors.  We expect our headquarters location will help us attract and retain talent and be closer to our clients and projects in the greater Dallas area,” adds Myers.

MYCON was recently recognized as the 18th Largest North Texas General Contractor by the Dallas Business Journal, among the Top 10 National Retail Contractors by Commercial Construction & Renovation Magazine, and ranked as #377 on ENR’s Top 400 list.

Construction is targeted for completion in January 2017.  O’Brien Architects is the architect.
